PASTA MAKING CLASS
Our tour takes place in the heart of the Tuscan countryside at a family-run winery with roots dating back to Etruscan times. Here you will be able to experience what it is like to be a local in Tuscany - and eat like one too!
The tour departs at 10am from our shop in the center of Florence. Upon arrival to the winery by comfortable van transport from Florence, you will have the opportunity to tour the winery and the cantina to learn about their wine and olive oil production.
After that grab a glass of wine and your chef’s hat to dive into the cooking class. Because, what fun is cooking without a glass of wine in hand?!
During the lesson you will learn the art of making the famous traditional Italian pasta, “tagliatelle” or another type of traditional Italian pasta. You will be able to whip up your very own plate of pasta that you can enjoy during lunch. After your hands are nice and tired, take a break to participate in a cooking demonstration and learn how to make a traditional Italian sauce, just like nonna!
Afterwards sit down to toast with your new friends and celebrate all of your hard work! Relax and enjoy your very own creations as they are served for lunch! The lunch will include the pasta you prepared ahead of time plus other traditional Italian delicacies and plenty of wine! During lunch you will get to taste both the olive oil and sip on multiple wines produced by the winery.
After lunch you will be transported back to Florence by van. Plus, you will get to go home with your new recipes in hand!
